After 4 years looking, I finally bought a building in downtown Birmingham last week. The former Storkland Furniture building on 2nd Avenue North is a "historically significant" building built around 1917. I am going to build a space downstairs for a couple of new businesses. Upstairs I'm building a loft for myself, and self-storage units to serve the downtown loft dwellers and businesses.
